Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon insists that Washington, not Israel, made the decision to attack Iran. Yet he acknowledges that Israel supported the American military campaign and regarded it as the right course of action. In an interview with i24NEWS, Danon rejected attempts to hold Israel responsible for rising oil prices and the economic fallout. He also conceded that criticism of Israel is growing within both the Democratic and Republican parties. The distinction he draws over who made the final decision does not alter Israel’s political ownership of a campaign it openly supported.
